He was born on 17.10.1970 in Ankara.
He completed his secondary education at TED Ankara College.
He graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in January 1995.
He completed his speciality training in General Surgery at Başkent University Faculty of Medicine in October 2001.
He received the title of Associate Professor of General Surgery in January 2009.
In 2011, he was accepted to the International Society of Surgery.
In 2012, he was accepted to the American College of Surgeons and received the title of ‘Fellow of American College of Surgeons’ (FACS).
In June 2019, he received the title of Professor of General Surgery.
He worked as Chief Assistant and Training Assistant at Dr. Muhittin Ülker Training and Research Hospital (2003-2004), Ankara Training and Research Hospital (2004-2005), Dr. Abdurrahman Yurtaslanı Oncology Training and Research Hospital (2005), and Ankara Atatürk Training and Research Hospital (2005-2014), and Head of the Department of General Surgery at Bozok University Faculty of Medicine (2019-2023).
In 2006, he was one of the founding partners of Ankara Hernia Centre.
Between 2014-2019, he worked as Medical Director, Responsible Manager and General Surgery specialist at Güven Çayyolu Health Campus.
In 2020, he started to work as a Board Consultant at HC International Clinic and in October 2023, he started to work as General Manager and General Surgery specialist in the same clinic.
He serves in Turkish Journal of Surgery, Turkish Journal of Gastroenterology, Ankara University Faculty of Medicine Journal, Turkish Medical Journal, Turkey Clinics Journal of Medical Sciences and World Journal of Gastroenterology. He is married and has one child.
