About Myself
He graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 1979 with second place. Between 1979 and 1983, he specialized in the Urology Department of the same Faculty of Medicine. Following his compulsory and military service, he started to work as an assistant professor in the Department of Urology at HUTF in April 1987. He became associate professor in 1988 and professor in 1995. Between 1991 and 1992, she served as a fellow in neurourology and andrology at New York Long Island College Hospital, and in 1995 at Cleveland Clinic Ohio in the section of Female Urology and Voiding dysfunction. Between 1998 and 2001, he was a fellow of the same clinic.
He received the first prize in the declaration competition between the assistants of the Turkish urology association in 1988, and the first prize of the Bedii Gorbon Cancer Control Foundation in 1989. In 2001, he was invited to Houston Baylor College's Department of Urology as a visiting professor.
He prioritized the firsts in Turkey in the surgical treatment of female incontinence. Sacrol started neuromodulation (bladder batteries) treatment for the first time in Turkey in 1996.
He was the President of Andrology, Continence and Ankara Urologists Association. He was a member of the Turkish Urology Association Qualification Board for 2 terms.
He has over 200 national and international publications.
He is a member of the Urology Surgery Association, Continence Association, Minimally Invasive Urology Association, Urooncology Association and EAU.
She has been working full time at HC Clinic since July 2021.
