Radiology

Radiology is the use of x-rays and other imaging methods for diagnosis and treatment in medicine. Some of the methods used for diagnosis and treatment are ultrasound, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), nuclear medicine methods, positron emission tomography (PET), mammography, fluoroscopy and some other methods using X-rays. The use of these methods for diagnostic purposes is to utilize the images obtained by medical imaging in the detection of diseases, while their use for therapeutic purposes is to enable some surgical procedures to be performed with less damage thanks to imaging methods.

Computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) are performed in our center, which follows technological developments. When deemed necessary, CT and MRI can also be performed under anesthesia in our center. In addition, CT enterography, MR enterography, virtual colonoscopy, direct radiographs, ultrasound and Doppler ultrasound examinations, mammography and interventional procedures under ultrasound and tomography guidance are performed.
