Quality Management Department Studies;

To ensure the coordination of the studies carried out within the framework of the Medical Center for Quality Standards in Health,
To evaluate the corrective, preventive and remedial activities created and followed for improvement purposes.
To conduct analysis together with the departments regarding departmental objectives and indicators and to evaluate the results.
To identify the existing problems in the Institution as a result of self-evaluations, to prioritize them and to carry out improvement works in this direction and to ensure that they are carried out.
To ensure and monitor the implementation of risk management activities.
To keep track of possible changes in new and current standards.
To carry out training activities regarding the Quality Management System and Quality Standards in Health.
Participating as a member in the committees determined within the framework of Quality Standards in Health and following up the meetings.

Procedure for Companions:

  • The need for a companion is decided by the patient’s doctor.
  • Accompanying persons are informed not to perform any practice against the patient other than the doctor’s and nurse’s directives.
  • The number of companions is limited to one person. This may change when necessary.
  • They are informed that department nurses should be notified in case of companion changes.
  • In general, the issues to be considered in terms of the use of goods, materials, noise, loud noise, smoking/alcohol are explained. Companions must comply with hospital rules.
  • Accompanying persons may use the accompanying chairs in the patient rooms for resting.
  • Accompanying persons should not perform any application for the patient (except for physician and nurse directives).
  • Companions are prohibited from using tobacco and alcoholic substances in the center.
  • Companions should not bring food and drink to the patient and should not give any food and drink to the patient without consulting the doctor or nurse.
  • In case of any problem with the patient, the nurse should be informed first.

Patient Rights

Based on the “Directive on Patient Rights Practices in Healthcare Facilities”, it is aimed to ensure that patients and their relatives who apply to our Center can use their rights specified in the legislation and to prevent violations of patient rights, and to provide health services in a manner befitting human rights and dignity.

01.08.1998 dated and 23420 numbered Official Gazette in accordance with the Patient Rights Regulation, everyone who applies to our institution;

  • Benefit from the service in general: To benefit from activities to promote healthy living and preventive health services within the framework of the principles of justice and equity,
  • Access to services in equality: To receive services regardless of race, language, religion and sect, gender, political opinion, philosophical belief, economic and social status,
  • Being informed To learn about all kinds of services and opportunities,
  • Choosing and changing the health institution: To choose and change the health institution and to benefit from the health services provided in the health institution of his/her choice,
  • Recognizing, selecting and changing personnel: To learn, select and change the identities, duties and titles of physicians and other personnel who will and are providing health services,
  • Requesting Information: To request all kinds of information about health status verbally or in writing,
  • Confidentiality: To receive all kinds of health services in an environment that is suitable for confidentiality,
  • Consent and Authorization: Obtaining consent in medical interventions and benefiting from the service within the framework of consent, Refusal and suspension: To refuse treatment and to request its cessation,
  • Safety Receiving health care in a safe environment,
  • To be able to fulfill their religious obligations: To fulfill their religious obligations to the extent of the possibilities of the organization and within the framework of the measures taken by the administration,
  • To be respected: To receive friendly, kind, compassionate health care with respect, care and attention,
  • Comfort: To receive health care in an environment where all hygienic conditions are provided and all noisy and disturbing factors are eliminated,
  • Visitation: To accept visitors in accordance with the procedures and principles determined by the institutions and organizations, Accompaniment: To request to have a companion within the scope of the legislation, the possibilities of health institutions and organizations and if deemed appropriate by the physician,
  • Right of application, complaint and lawsuit: In case of violation of their rights, to use all kinds of application, complaint and lawsuit rights within the framework of the legislation,
  • Continuous service: The right to health care for as long as needed.

Patient Responsibilities

  • The patient must report any changes in their health, social security and personal information in a timely manner.
  • The patient must give full and complete information about his/her previous illnesses, medications, if any, and all information about his/her health.
  • The patient should listen carefully to the recommendations regarding treatment and medication and ask about things they do not understand.
  • He/she is obliged to comply with the recommended treatment and apply it as described and should inform if he/she does not do so.
  • The patient is responsible for the problems that may arise due to not accepting the treatment to be applied or not complying with the recommendations.
  • The patient must comply with the rules and practices of the health institution to which he/she applies.
  • The patient must cooperate with the physician and other health personnel at every stage of the diagnosis and treatment process.
  • The patient must comply with the appointment date and time and notify the relevant authorities of any changes.
  • The patient must indicate whether they understand the health care and post-discharge care plan correctly as expected.
  • The patient is responsible for the consequences of refusing treatment or failing to comply with recommendations.
  • The patient must respect the rights of the staff of the institution, other patients and visitors.
