After completing his primary and secondary education in Osmaniye, he graduated from Kahramanmaraş Süleyman Demirel Science High School.
He then received his medical education at Çukurova University Faculty of Medicine. Between 2005-2010, he completed his speciality training at Ankara Numune Training and Research Hospital Neurosurgery Clinic. He started to work as a specialist in the same hospital.
In 2010, he received training in Endoscopic Pituitary and Skull Base Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Skul Base Centre. Since this year, he started endoscopic treatment of pituitary adenomas and many other base tumours. Then, in 2011, he was at Federrico 2 Universty Napoli to develop Endoscopic Pituitary and Skull Base Surgery.
In 2016, he received the title of Associate Professor and the title of Education Officer in Ankara Numune Training and Research Hospital Neurosurgery Clinic.
He received training in Endoscopic Pituitary and Skull Base Surgery at University of Pittsburgh Skul Base Centre.
Federrico was at the 2nd University of Naples to develop Endoscopic Pituitary and Skull Base Surgery.
In 2017, he transferred to Ankara Yüksek İhtisas University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Neurosurgery. Mr. ERDEM, who started to work at the Private HC Internatinal Surgery Medical Centre. ERDEM continues to work in the institution. Fluent in English, Assoc. Prof. Dr Ali Erdem Yıldırım is married.
